Had a great meal tonight. Goat curry Superb. Chef came out and introduced himself and to see if we were happy with food. Old style service and magnificent food. A must try if you are in the area. Vegetarian options: Yes Parking: No problems

Houssain GhabraAmazing food! I love the tandoori drumsticks—- so full of flavour and moist. The chicken biryani also had a unique spice to it and omg the food portions were so big! We ordered 5 dishes and they were under $100! Definitely recommend this restaurant—- the food is authentic, cheap, and delicious
Lis Delicious food, friendly service, large portions. The naan was particularly good and seemed to be freshly cooked. Would recommend booking if you are attending with a large group as there is a small kitchen and it is a popular spot in town!

The owner is the most friendly bloke.I Let him decide what to order for meself and absolutely loved it. Had a chilled pure blonde courtesy him. Fantastic . Highly recommend. He's done the place pretty well. Apparently he drives all the way back to Adelaide just for his groceries. Now that's dedication. Cheers mate
Krish A Chilly Disappointment - 1/5 Stars We visited Indian Food Depot with high expectations, given its 4.9-star rating. Unfortunately, our experience was a letdown from start to finish. The temperature inside the restaurant was shockingly cold - less than 13 degrees! We mentioned this to the staff, and they agreed, yet did nothing to adjust the thermostat. It was actually colder inside than outside! The food was another story altogether. Our table of four ordered various dishes, but none of them impressed us. The meat was overcooked and tough, making it hard to chew. My duck was almost burnt to a crisp. It was like they forgot the meaning of "medium-rare". Given the subpar food and uncomfortable dining environment, we left feeling disappointed and frustrated. Our experience was a far cry from the glowing reviews we'd read. Perhaps it was an off day, but we won't be returning to find out. Rating: 1/5 stars (and that's being generous)
Petronela OlaruI recently moved to port pirie for couple of weeks. I was looking for Indian food today, Randomly ordered food from this restaurant. It was way too delicious than my expectations. Food is amazing as such as restaurant staff. Their delivery was fast and efficient. I will totally recommend their food.
